Beau Blanc is a 53-year-old introverted man. He has a shifty gaze and it is sometimes difficult to know if he is talking to you or if he is talking to himself. His expression describes a heaviness of mind. It’s hard to have a conversation with him without telling you about the rocket.

Despite this handicap, he enjoys tinkering and creating structures that come out of his imagination, like characters he hopes to find on different planets. He makes it in his barn, where he isolates himself to escape his wife! He has a tendency to paranoia. He is convinced that his plans for aerospace construction are being stolen from him and that he is being spied on by NASA. He goes to great lengths to keep the secrets of his creations. Moreover, despite his mistrust, he shares his engineering secrets with his friend Robert, to whom he makes it clear that these are top secret concepts!

His engineering skills. There is a small door on the barn floor, hidden under the hay. This is his secret hiding place. He drew plans for engines based on blowers and hair dryers, intended for the propulsion of his spaceship. He nevertheless manages to design a turbine based on a modified hair dryer which works thanks to a small orifice on the top where it connects the arrival of a small tube which is supplied by a propane cylinder that he has removed from his barbecue. Anisette BEAU’S WIFE

Anisette is a 63 year old woman. Interested in nothing special, other than her chickens which she awkwardly takes care of. The fields of conversation one can have with her are limited to her vegetables and her poorly maintained garden.

Jimmy ,l’enfant surdoué

Jimmy is a very sensitive 12 year old who is rejected by his classmates. He lives with his father, a pilot who is often absent. He lives in emotional and social loneliness and is seen by his teachers as a dunce, inattentive and lazy. He has low self-esteem. Yet he is a child with extraordinary intelligence. Due to his sensitivity and despite the rejection he experiences, he has a special empathy for others. He stands up for the injustice he sees around him. He has a great passion for aviation, he has surprisingly advanced notions of piloting and aerospace engineering.

Père Jimmy  Charles

Jimmy’s father, Antoine, is a 41-year-old entrepreneur. He is the founder of Blériot, a small air transport company with a small stream of 5 planes. Blériot is in financial difficulty due to various factors: oil price, competition, lack of customers…. Antoine is a serious, hard-working, divorced and single-parent man. He has a lot of trouble taking care of his son Jimmy due to his workload! He is away most of the time and when he is present he has to take care of the hangar and various maintenance or accounting tasks. Antoine is a calm and organized person, but despite his good will, he is overcome by problems which multiply.

JIMMY’S MATH TEACHER

Mathematics teacher. Jérémie is a 46 year old man. He has worked for years at the same school in Saint-Paulin that he hates. He’s a narcissistic pervert. He permanently criticizes his students in public (always with finesse) or in private. He uses verbal violence and psychological violence to convince himself of his intellectual superiority. He is devoid of empathy, extremely contemptuous, even mean. He takes advantage of the slightest flaw to attack his students, especially Jimmy, his scapegoat!

FBI AGENT – CHRIS

At first glance, Agent Chris appears to be a tired and clumsy investigator. However, when he investigates a homicide, no detail escapes him and thanks to his relentless deductions, he manages to trace the problem. (Reverse)

He wears a raincoat that reaches his knees, badly worn, of a dirty black and gray color. His pockets are often filled with keys or unlit cigars.
